CEB Transition Reports - DUE ON MARCH 30, 2011

Hello CEB, Attached to this email is a example of the Chapter Transition Report. This is a LENGTHY and DETAIL DEMANDING report that encompasses all the resources that you took advantage of over the course of your term as an E-Board member. The point of completing this form is so that the new CEB does not have to come in and start from scratch; they will have a copy of your transition report handy to see things like: 1. Points of Contact - Co-Sponsors, Company Representatives, Panelists, Guest Speakers, etc. 2. Helpful Hints for Success You all received a Transition Report that was developed by the person who had your position last year and I hope that you are making use of it to further your success as a member of the CEB. PLEASE NOTE THE DUE DATE: WEDNESDAY, MARCH 30TH. Last year we got about 3 weeks to complete our transition report. This year, you have THE ENTIRE SPRING SEMESTER to complete them. The below information is very important stuff that I need from all of you guys. If a task pertains to a specific person, that will be stated. 1. Dress Code for GB Meeting - Black NSBE Polo (or any Black Polo if you do no have a NSBE Polo), Khacki Slacks. CEOs may wear business professional if they choose (I will be business professional). **NO EXCEPTIONS** 2. Bring a laptop to help with the membership drive at the end of the meeting. 3. CEB PROFILES ARE NEEDED IMMEDIATELY FOR LBL. I NEED PROFILES FROM THE FOLLOWING PEOPLE... - Valerie Simmons, Secretary - Eric Martin-Taylor, Webmaster - Nick Farley, Finance Chair **ATTACHED IS AN EXAMPLE** 4. Email me if you have any slides that you would like to include in the GB presentation. 5. The Meeting before the Meeting: NSBE HQ REQUIRED

Great Job on NSBE week my fabulous Executive Board!       I would like to remind everyone that this week's general body meeting will feature NSBE Headquarters. Before this meeting there will be a short REQUIRED meeting to discuss the UF NSBE Freshman Retention Program with the NSBE HQ. So I will need 4 things from everyone 1.   Create 1 slide that describes what your responsibilities are as a board member       - They will be put together into a presentation so that people have a better idea of the positions. Presentations will go online and will be available          upon request 2.   Email GB powerpoints for the meeting on Wed. to Robert at <a href="mailto:president@ufnsbe.org">president@ufnsbe.org</a> by Monday night, Oct. 25, 2010      - Everyone will be emailed a final copy of this presentation and you are asked to respond back with comments and improvement         suggestions by 2pm on Wed.
